THE LINA M. OBEID AWARD
​
In addition to being a pioneering force in the Sphingolipid field, Dr. Lina Obeid was a fierce advocate of women in science. To honor this advocacy, we have created and will be presenting the first Lina Obeid Award. This award, generously sponsored by Cayman Chemical, will be presented to a junior female investigator who has made strong contributions to the lipid field.
1ST ANNIVERSARY OF THE SPHINGOLIPID BIOLOGY

To celebrate the first anniversary of the Sphingolipid Biology Platform for Researchers, we will provide an award certificate for the best poster presentation and the best submitted abstract not selected for presentation. The winners will be invited to present their work at the Sphingolipid Biology webinars.
In addition, the best poster presentation will be awarded with "The FEBS Letters poster prize" consisting on 200€ and a certificate.
