A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Mioara Larion in the Neuro-Oncology Branch at NCI, in Bethesda Maryland.

The successful candidate will participate in a project on the molecular mechanisms by which sphingolipids and fatty acids are contributing to brain tumor biology. We study novel aspects of metabolism, regulation, and biological functions of sphingolipids in brain tumors. We use LC/MS-based metabolomics, genetic tools, cancer biology methods, and Raman Imaging Microscopy.
